Cleansing-Healing Process

Modern (Petroleum Based) Drugs vs. Ancestral (Heritage) Health.

Modern Petroleum Based Drugs.

Many modern drugs are derived from petroleum oil. These drugs are often addictive and may have side-effects that are worse than the original problem. There are some notable exceptions. In general, many of these drugs promise no more pain or immediate recovery. However, they prevent my body from cleansing. I am suppressing the cleansing and true healing process. There are crisis situations where some of these drugs may be needed, hopefully for a short time and/or at low-dose. Many commercial foods now contain toxic preservatives and additives that cause sickness.

Ancestral Health Perspective.

My body knows how to heal and stay healthy when I provide the support it needs. I let my body call the shots and give it high-nutrient ancestral foods, herbs, superfoods and intermittent fasting. If needed, I support my body with a select group of drug interventions that are as close to nature as possible. When I follow this strategy there is no fear of sickness. When I get sick it is because my body is removing poisons and toxins. My body is house-cleaning. My job is simply to support this process and be as comfortable as possible during this healing crisis. After this healing-cleansing crisis, my body will regain strength.

Some close-to-nature drugs include: Chlorine Dioxide, Castor Oil, DMSO (Dimethyl Sulfoxide), Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, Low-dose-Naltrexone, Low-dose-Methylene-Blue.

The Doctor-Patient Handbook

DEEP DIVE with Bernard Jensen into Understanding Health and the Healing Crisis.

This book is a lifeline for both patient and physician because it describes the process for overcoming chronic disease. Here is a steady guide to recovery for those having been trapped for years in unintentional autointoxication, causing constant fatigue, because their system is producing the poisons that accelerate the disease process.

This acceleration of disease can happen through candida overgrowth, suppressive medications, suppression of elimination, addiction, poor diet, bad living habits-lifestyle choices, parasites, over-medication, poor self-stress management, etc. Dr. Bernard Jensen defines autointoxication as The poisoning of the body or some part of the body, by toxic matter generated therein. [Doctor-Patient Handbook, Page 9]

The quotes below are designed to provide an introduction to nature's healing method as described and recommended by Bernard Jensen. The book provides many additional details on landmarks to look for in the healing process, supplements and lifestyle.

Stabilization and Detox

Detoxification relates to the reduction of toxic materials in the body and making this toxic material easier to be eliminated. So the first part of my health program involves enabling the body to begin rejecting materials collected in the years before from bad diet and poor health habits. [Introduction]

Elimination and Elimination Diets relate to discharge from the body of indigestible materials and waste products, which is done through the eliminative organs: skin, kidneys, liver, lungs and bowel, and...lymphatic system. [Introduction]

Understanding the Reversal Point / Process

[The] reversal process is the retracing of the stages or steps of each disease you have had, reactivating each one and eliminating it. Many people who have suppressed diseases all their lives think an elimination, such as a cold, is a sickness instead of a healing process. [Introduction]

Reversal: Old Tissues Are Replaced with New

1.) reversal point activates 2.) the healing crisis

[The] healing crisis follows the reversal process. It is an effort [of] all organs to become new and strong again. Though it may feel like a disease crisis, it will not last as long, or develop into another disease. Instead, it will bring about renewed health...Through this constructive progress toward health, old tissues are replaced with new. A disease crisis, on the other hand, is a natural but unfavorable one...every organ in the body works against it. [Introduction, Page 49]

Only right living brings about the healing crisis

Only right living (Reversal Point) brings about the healing crisis. A healing crisis comes to those who do the right thing..by getting clean foods...you clean up both the body and the mind....Thus the tissue integrity develops more power, it has more repair ability, and it can regenerate better and faster....Disease is really just a lack of health. Every diseased person has got some health. They have to start with whatever health they have and build it back up again....A well body is one that has a lot of resistance and a lot of power....I tell everybody who comes to me that no one gets really well in less than a year. [Page 63-64, 66]

In the work of nature, the body is constantly trying to cleanse itself, to use every means available to make as good a body as possible. It is only through cleansing and purifying through outward measures, fresh air, pure water and natural foods that the body cleanses itself. [Page 72]

The Cold is the Beginning of Every Disease

People don't realize that we really make a cold. The cold is the beginning of every disease. Colds are common with kids because they are always in a state of active elimination. However, we have been trained to give them something whenever they are ailing, as well as to take something for ourselves under similar circumstances. Usually this is in the form of a drug that has a suppressive action and drives the catarrh back into the cody, stopping the natural elimination. The drugless profession, however, says that we must eliminate - we must get clean. So what do we do? We go to bed, we rest, we go on juices, we go on a little fast. We rest, even from food. And we find that as we rest the body becomes stronger and finishes the cleaning job....When catarrh, phlegm or mucus is suppressed and thereby driven back into the lung structure, bronchial tubes, or any weak organ in the body, we are on our way to a chronic disease...The next suppression symptom...is the flu...There are antibiotics and penicillin, but these continue to cause suppression ...we go on with our bad habits of living; we don't change our way of life. The next thing that develops is hay fever...Can you see this process that you build up in developing a chronic disease?....measles, whooping cough, mumps, all children's disease are an elimination process... [Page 72-75]

Have you had bronchial disorders, pneumonia, bronchitis? Look back further. No doubt you had the flu and some fever when you were a child. A cold started the vicious chain. Did you treat that cold with a suppressive remedy? If so, you should be able to see how a chronic disease was developed over a period of years. The process is a consequence of not following natural laws of the body: not allowing it to restore itself by way of the healing crisis and the reversal process of 'cure.' Let the body bring about the kind of cure it requires. [The Science and Practice of Iridology, How Disease Becomes Chronic, Page 39]

Disease Does Not Invade the Body

Disease does not invade the body. It is through lowered energy that we develop symptomatic diseases that may settle in any organ - particularly in the organ with an inherent weakness. Catarrhal [mucus] discharges that should be worked out naturally through the nose, skin, eyes, and other eliminative channels, when suppressed, will be driven back and cause symptoms in the inherently weak organs. The reason disease can develop in weak organs is that they do not have the resistance to throw off the toxic material settling in the body. Strong organs and weak organs differ extremely with respect to their functioning ability....The [weak organs] are constantly worked on to such an extent that the resisting power cannot throw off any latent toxic material settled there and a more chronic disease may develop - such as cancer, arthritis, tuberculosis...we are developing more chronic diseases than ever before. [The Science and Practice of Iridology, How Disease Becomes Chronic, Page 39]

Of course fear and nervousness have their place in the development of chronic diseases. It certainly is not to our advantage to hear someone on the radio tell us that one out of every eight has cancer, and suggest 'You may be next!' ..They [patients] live in a state of accepting fear thoughts...During the last twenty years of my practice I have observed a change in the type of patients I have been treating. Patients come into the office today in a frightened state of mind. With a combination of mental stress and physical difficulties, they have a double problem with which to cope, and so does the doctor. [The Science and Practice of Iridology, How Disease Becomes Chronic, Page 40]

I do not believe in a program which forces a person to live correctly through fear....Fear is a disease in itself.... [The Science and Practice of Iridology, Technique in Iris Reading, Page 50]

Disease Prevention

...it seems to me that the first principle [of cure] is the realization that what will prevent a disease will also cure it. The cure is found in the prevention....There are three principles of cure which we should particularly remember. First, the body must have a healthy blood stream, for without this the body cannot have a healthy cell structure. The second principle is ...that the blood must circulate rapidly enough to supply cell structures with all the necessary building elements....The third principle is rest. Rest cures. The first thing a sick person feels naturally inclined to do is lie down...rest allows the body to recuperate and regenerate. Tiredness was given to us as a barometer and fatique is the first symptom of all disease. [The Science and Practice of Iridology, The Principles of Cure, Page 43]

Building Health is More Powerful than Treating Disease

In studying how to eradicate disease, we must exercise care in the use of the word 'cure' because many persons think that they have cured a disease when they have merely suppressed it and sent it off to some spot in the body where it will likely become latent. We are interested primarily in building health rather than in treating disease. When we treat and suppress a disease, we lay groundwork for development of a more chronic condition. I wish we could see that 'doctoring' is not always the best thing for the body, and that by building a healthy body we build resistance. [The Science and Practice of Iridology, The Principles of Cure, Page 45]

We should not entertain the belief that disease is all-powerful over the body processes....With a positive attitude for health, what can disease do? Where will it go? It will automatically be eliminated through the body cleansing we have been talking about...Nature-cure is not the complete answer to all health problems, but I believe we chould try these methods first....in many chronic cases the disease has become so well established that a return to normal health is impossible... There are cases, however, with the worst conditions who, through consistent efforts to cooperate with nature cure methods, have been enabled to avoid surgery and other drastic measures. [The Science and Practice of Iridology, The Principles of Cure, Page 46]

Drug-medication abuse (in general) suppresses will power. One modern word for this suppression of will power is 'addiction'. The power to re-activate (heal) our will power comes from God (The Great Spirit) who provides us with the strength to reject the bad and instead choose health-building lifestyles and foods. Why do we sin against our own body? ...know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit [The Breath of God] which is in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own, for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body. [Paul's Letter to the Corinthians, I Corinthians 6:18-20]

Many people become conditioned to a chronic state of disease and seem to be resigned and even satisfied with it. They feel no pain so they go on in the same chronic condition for years. But before healing can take place, they must be warned that the old pains and symptoms may return for a short time during the healing crisis. It is very important to so instruct a patient with a chronic condition before begining treatment. [The Science and Practice of Iridology, Markings or Lesions in Organ Areas, Page 133-134]

Some conditions of disease are actually eliminative processes trying to rid the body of toxins, but when the patient does not understand this and he experiences pain, discomfiture, or swelling of any part of the body, he goes to a doctor for an operation. The operation may apparently cure the patient, relieving him of the pain he had, yet many times, the cause of the patient's trouble has not been removed and will remain there unless the proper therapeutic measures are applied.
